How We Got Here
It first began March 13, 2020.
The intention that night was not to begin the most intensive, rewarding, community-driven musical journey of my life, but rather to simply feel a little less alone in our shared physical isolation.
What happened over the next 500 nights is something I will cherish for the rest of my days.
It wasn’t all easy and joyous.
There were as many lows and failures as there were joys and victories.
But over the course of that year and a half, we reached millions of people.
Not me.
Us.
Millions of people—whether it was for one night or one hundred—joined this community and were reminded that they weren’t alone.
What It’s Become
These last four-and-a-half-years, at our current biweekly pace, have kinda felt like a victory stroll.
Taking you on the road with us each weekend is so special. Having you with us at shows makes everything feel more complete somehow.
And getting to touch down with you on Tuesdays—even on the days I’m burnt and exhausted from being a daddy—keeps me grounded more than you know.
... A reminder that even when we’re apart, we’re never not connected. 🙂

Gathering 1000 — The Plan
On Saturday, May 9th at 3 PM EDT, we are going to Gather at New Dawn Arts Center. IMPORTANT: MOVING GATHERING 1K INSIDE!!! PLEASE NOTE UPDATED LOCATION
New Dawn Arts Center in Ashburnham, MA has become our "Noah's Ark" this Saturday and welcomed us on board - cameras, cookies, and all.
No big stage.
No fancy lights.
We’ll pack in and pack out our food, and beverages—just like those early Live Gathering days.
We’ll spend the afternoon together…joined online by Gatherers from around the world.
I have so many deep memories from this journey we’ve taken together, most of them unexpected and unplanned.
I have a feeling this will be one I remember forever.

Timing
The Gathering begins at 3 PM.
Please arrive no earlier than 2 PM. (The band will be coming in hot from a show in Connecticut, and Team AEG and the RallySound team will be working right up to the buzzer to get ready for ya.)
The Gathering will end sometime between 5–6 PM.
What to Bring
For planning purposes, please be aware that this is a carry-in, carry-out event. BYOB and munchies.
