Well, I was born in Durham, North Carolina (but I'm a Tarheel fan). Then, when I was about five, I started banging my fists on the piano. It was fun so I stuck with it.

So, I grew up in Boston, and then went to New Orleans for college where I stayed and taught school in grades five through eight. I also coached basketball.

I played in a bunch of bands there, like Van Gough's Ear, Payola, and HoneyPot. Then, I moved back to Boston and played with Nikulydin, Soulwork, and Wheat.

So, with these bands, I toured all around the country, and even into Canada some. We played at the High Sierra Music Festival in California, and the Carson Daly Show and Late Night with Conan O'Brien in NYC.

Now, Adam is my cousin, see, and Turtle, the percussionist, told him, "we should find a keyboard player for our band, The Adam Ezra Group." Well, I thought it was good idea.
